We recommend that you either fly in to San Luis Obispo directly (SBP), or fly in to San Jose (SJC) and drive approximately 3h south on highway 101 to San Luis Obispo. In both situations, we suggest that you get a rental car for getting around San Luis Obispo and to take advantage of all the California central coast and Big Sur has to offer, and to drive to/from the venue in the hills! You could take Uber/Lyft to the venue, but it is a bit remote and ridesharing will not be available later at night!

SBP is very convenient as it's 15 minutes from San Luis Obispo and from the wedding venue, but it's a small regional airport and has more limited flight options.

SJC (and SFO) is larger and has many more options, especially for long-haul flights.

LAX is also an option, but is our least favorite airport in the world, and would likely be a longer drive to San Luis Obispo then SJC with traffic factored in.

We have four different hotel suggestions, depending on what sort of vibe you're looking for on the trip! There are also a lot of other hotel options in the San Luis Obispo area.

We will be staying at Hotel San Luis Obispo in downtown San Luis Obispo, which is a very nice, well-located hotel for exploring downtown! It's a 20 minute drive from the venue. Just at the edge of downtown is also the Quality Suites.

Well outside of downtown, there's Courtyard Marriott in San Luis Obispo. We have a 10% off discount, use code 14955 when checking out from the Marriott website! It's also a 15-20 minute drive from the venue.
